Award-winning fashion line Öfuurë debuts its first footwear collection tagged Oriri, which means ‘Glory.’ The collection is made up of cold weather-inspired footwear designed with vibrant prints and bold patterns that encourage the every day queen to be fearless, fashionable and most of all to be free!
The limited collection features 3 high-heeled boots; the first is Idara, made from a bright yellow and royal blue Ankara print with stiletto heels. The second is Ekan, made from a bright red/multicolour Ankara fabric with block heels. The third is Dunnie, a black combat boot with block heels and blue Kente print accents.
According to Tehilah Abakasanga, the creative director, founder and lead designer of Öfuurë,
“With Öfuurë I’m always trying new things. I’ve always wanted to create my Öfuurë shoe line and I knew I didn’t want to do just anything. Living in Toronto where it’s cold about 5-6 months a year, boots are a staple in every woman’s closet. With my boots, comfort is essential to me. I also wanted the collection to feature big bold prints that would definitely make the wearer stand out.”
The collection which officially launched online on November 9th is exclusively available at Ofuure.com in sizes 6 to 11.
