Moët & Chandon, a French champagne house founded in 1743, celebrated its annual Moët & Chandon Grand Day on the 9th of June 2018 in major cities around the world and Lagos wasn’t left out of the fun.
This year, Moët & Chandon renamed the annual rendezvous that debuted in 2016 from “Moët Party Day” to “Moët & Chandon Grand Day.” For 24 hours, friends and guests of the Champagne House came together to raise their champagne glasses in a worldwide toast to the memorable moments that bring joy to their lives.
From Lagos to Hong Kong and Geneva to Montreal, fans of the brand were all out celebrating while looking stylish. Moët & Chandon definitely brought the art of the fête, a French word literally meaning ‘party’, to Nigeria.
The event hosted celebrities and fans from all sectors and as with every event, trust Nigerians to SLAY! Amongst the slayers was Rita Dominic who graced the occasion in a custom Lanre DaSilva Ajayi piece that was breathtakingly beautiful. Beverly Naya, Mimi Onalaja, Ini Dima-Okojie and others were also at the event in their best pieces.
