US-based, Nigerian-owned fashion brand Brides by Nona, owned by Nneka C. Alexander, has steadily gained popularity among brides in Nigeria and the world at large. This feat was not accomplished overnight as Nneka over time set herself apart with her intricately crafted and extravagant silhouettes, designed for the bold and unconventional bride. This she showed again as she unveiled her latest collection on Day 2 of the just concluded Lagos Bridal Fashion Week 2018.
The bespoke fashion house created a collection that left a mark in the eyes of viewers. It is safe to say that this Brides by Nona collection hit all the right notes. Being a bespoke brand, every bride is sure to get a dress tailored to her taste.
The collection featured everything from classy to sexy and chic wedding looks including a short dress covered in an extended train; a beautifully draped shoulder bow dres; a structured side peplum dress, and other richly designed dresses with lavish detailing that set them apart from regular wedding gowns.
