With her statement designs, Nigerian designer Andrea Iyamah is setting the pace in the global swimwear industry and her Spring/Summer 2018 is bringing the summer heat faster than we can say GO! This collection is most certainly for the IT-girl; the girl who has taken it upon herself to get her body toned and her skin popping for summer.
One of the many high points of this collection is the structure of the pieces; Andrea Iyamah is known for its daring cuts and this swimwear collection has more than a hint of that. The fabrics, cuts and colours all merge in such a fluid way. Muted tones like dark cyan, mustard, Ash, mulberry all brought the designs to life in the most subtle yet fantastically fabulous way.
The brand’s collection includes matching cover pieces for the girl who really wants to SLAY this summer, on and off the beach or pool. Jumpsuits with well detailed cuts and loose dresses also make an appearance in the collection.

“…all pieces were designed to imitate an element of our environment with colours ranging from warm to cool, inspiration ranging from dry to wet seasons and lines illustrating the direction of mountain horizons and moving oceans. These features and shapes are carefully placed to flatter the female form.”
