Last Week’s Best Dressed Men Blended Artistry And Elegance On The Red Carpet

Last week delivered no shortage of glitz, glamour, and standout menswear moments. With high-profile events like the Fashion Trust U.S. Gala, the first anniversary celebration of Broadway’s Hell’s Kitchen, and the buzz of CinemaCon lighting up the cultural calendar, Black male celebrities stepped out in looks that seamlessly blended art, character, and elevated tailoring. From paying homage to theatrical drama to pushing the boundaries of modern menswear, these men made one thing clear: red carpets aren’t just about protocol—they’re a canvas for self-expression.

The Looks

Colman Domingo brought a masterclass in sophistication to CinemaCon in Las Vegas while promoting his upcoming film The Running Man. The actor opted for Look 13 from AMIRI’s Autumn-Winter 2025 collection—a burgundy, high-gloss leather jacket layered over a crisp white shirt with a cutaway collar. Also, the deep hue of the jacket created a contrast against tailored grey dress pants, resulting in a bold and refined look. Finishing the ensemble with sleek black pointed-toe leather boots, Domingo exuded a quiet confidence that echoed his commanding presence on screen.

Next, Swizz Beatz brought his signature avant-garde flair to the Hell’s Kitchen Broadway anniversary celebration, turning heads in a bold KidSuper suit adorned with mannequin figure graphics. He grounded the statement piece with a classic black t-shirt and sleek black dress shoes, striking a balance between daring and refined. Opting for minimal yet impactful accessories, he finished the look with a pair of round sunglasses, allowing the art-inspired suit to speak volumes.

Meanwhile, at the Fashion Scholarship Fund awards, Law Roach once again reminded us why he remains one of fashion’s most influential figures. The celebrated stylist made an appearance in a stripy Vivienne Westwood suit, layered beneath a distressed Maison Margiela coat that introduced an unexpected layer of texture. For footwear, he chose sculptural Luar clogs, grounding the ensemble with a fashion-forward edge. Altogether, the look was yet another example of how Law continues to bend the rules of menswear—effortlessly and with unmistakable finesse.
