1. Rema announces 2025 world tour

Afrobeats sensation Rema has officially announced his highly anticipated 2025 Heis World Tour, set to take him across multiple continents with 23 electrifying performances. The tour kicks off on April 11 at the Edmonton Expo Centre in Alberta, Canada, and will see the Nigerian superstar grace some of the world’s most prestigious stages, including his debut at both weekends of Coachella. Rema’s world tour announcement follows the success of his sophomore album, “Heis,” released in July under Mavin Global, Jonzing World, and Interscope Records. The 11-track album, featuring collaborations with Shallipopi and Odumodublvck, peaked at No. 7 on Billboard’s World Albums chart and earned Rema his first Grammy nomination for Best Global Music Album. Presale tickets went live on February 11, with a Spotify presale following on February 12. General ticket sales open on February 13, giving fans worldwide a chance to experience the “Calm Down” hitmaker’s latest musical era live on stage.

2. SZA adds four new “LANA” tracks

Following her successful Super Bowl LXI halftime performance alongside Kendrick Lamar, SZA has expanded her album “LANA” with four new tracks. The project, which originally served as an extension of her 2022 Grammy-winning album “SOS,” now boasts 19 songs. Among the additions is a fresh collaboration with Don Toliver titled “Joni,” marking their second track together since Used.” This expansion builds on the previous 15-track version of “LANA,” which featured the Kendrick-assisted “30 for 30.”

Though SZA didn’t perform any tracks from LANA or SOS during the Super Bowl halftime show, she and Lamar electrified the Caesars Superdome stage with their collaborations “Luther” and “All the Stars.” Fans eager for more from the duo won’t have to wait long, as they are set to embark on the 23-date Grand National Tour beginning April 19. In a December interview with Access Hollywood, SZA teased the tour as a reinvention, promising “new music, new energy,” and a fresh approach to her live performances. Known for his distinctive sound and artistic versatility, Magixx has steadily built a reputation as one of the most promising voices in the Afrobeats scene, with hit singles and notable collaborations under his belt.

“I Dream in Color” is expected to blend Afrobeats, R&B, and soulful melodies, delivering an immersive listening experience filled with storytelling, rhythm, and passion. While the full tracklist and guest features remain undisclosed, anticipation is at an all-time high as fans await further updates. With this album, Magixx aims to showcase his artistic evolution and cement his place as a rising force in the global Afrobeats movement.

5. Cristiano Ronaldo agrees one-year contract extension with Al-Nassr

Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly agreed to extend his stay at Al-Nassr, signing a one-year contract extension that will keep him at the Saudi club until June 2026. The Portuguese superstar, who turned 40 just last week, initially joined the Riyadh-based side in January 2023 on a two-and-a-half-year deal set to expire at the end of the 2024/25 season. However, an Al-Nassr official told AFP that both parties have agreed to a renewable extension, with an official announcement expected in the coming days.

The news comes shortly after Ronaldo celebrated his milestone birthday in style, scoring in Al-Nassr’s 3-0 win against Al Feiha in the Saudi Pro League. Since his arrival, the former Real Madrid and Manchester United forward has been instrumental in Al-Nassr’s domestic and international campaigns, consistently delivering goals and key performances.
