The Candy Cane Lane movie premiere called and Chloe Bailey showed up in an edgy face beat that was intriguing in every way. Featuring strong brows, smokey eyes, and layered blush, the look was a welcome departure from the Christmas-y vibe the movie revolved around. To take things a bit further, Ms. Bailey added matte dark brown lips to the equation that delivered flawlessly. While 2023 has seen makeup looks that gravitate toward natural glam dominate the conversation, it’s always a delight when stars take the not-so-popular route.
Full brows are in! But if you didn’t get the update, Skai Jackson made sure to deliver it in one of the makeup looks that once again overlooked natural for full glam. Featuring full brows complemented by witchy lashes, the doll-up was a sure-fire way for the actress to get attention considering the understated aesthetic of her outfit. She leveraged bright red lipstick to up the ante and a playful personality to seal the deal. In all, this was an apt choice for the 2023 WIF Max Mara Face of the Future Award event, where her friend, Yara Shahidi, was a recipient.

Last week, Yvonne Orji stepped into the fourth floor and did so in full bloom. For her birthday photoshoot, the actress scored major points in a voluminous curly hairstyle decorated with flowers. Dreamy and feminine, the entire look announced that Ms. Orji has come into this era blooming and unafraid.
