On Wednesday, Bronx emcee, Ice Spice revealed that she teamed up with Living Product to create her own Chia Pet. She also shared a retro commercial that shows fans enjoying the growable item during the holidays. “Calling all Munchkins! The Ice Spice Chia Pet is here and ready to add some baddie energy to your home décor!” read a description on the product’s website.

“The superstar rapper’s iconic style is on full display as a terracotta home planter, complete with pink jacket and her signature diamond chain. Just spread the seeds, water, and watch her grow leafy green hair!” Fans can purchase their own Ice Spice Chia Pet for $34.99. In addition to the bust, customers will also receive three plantings worth of chia seeds and a plastic drip tray. Full plant growth—which will make up the star rapper’s signature curly hairstyle—is expected within two weeks from the start of application.

As the anticipation for Tems‘ project builds, a video of the singer in a studio session with rappers, Odumodublvck and Blaqbonez has surfaced. The singer revealed in a recent post on social media that her project is one many should look forward to as she might take a break following the release of the album. Her post on X read, “Hm I’m going offff once this LP is out.”

Tems, who was recently unveiled as a model and ambassador for the clothing brand Burberry, has had fans anticipating the release of an album after her first single of 2023, titled “Me & U.” It is, however, uncertain if this would be a song off her own album or a collaborative work with the two rappers, but many are excited at the possibility of new music from the singer.

Rapper Oladips, who was reported to have died in a post on his social media platform, has shared a post for the first time since the news surfaced. The rapper shared a video of himself and his mother on his social media platform on Thursday, November 23, with a caption that read, “Proof of Life.” The video was released following initial reports of the singer passing away on November 15. 

5. Super Eagles suffer big blow ahead of AFCON 2023

The quest for the Super Eagles of Nigeria to win their fourth Africa Cup of Nations title has suffered a big blow with a few months left until the tournament. The Eagles forward player, Taiwo Awoniyi, has been ruled out of action for at least four months, which is after the 2023 AFCON that will be hosted in Cote d’Ivoire. Nottingham Forest confirmed Awoniyi’s injury on its official website on Thursday.

The statement released said that the player picked up the injury during the Super Eagles World Cup qualifying game against Lesotho in Uyo on Thursday, November 16. Awoniyi has been fantastic for Forest since he joined them last season; his goal was crucial in helping them survive relegation. He has scored four goals in 11 appearances for Forest this season.
