1. Yung Miami confirms break up with Diddy
Yung Miami has confirmed that she and Diddy are no longer an item. When asked in an interview on Wednesday, April 19 with The Cut about her relationship status with the “I’ll Be Missing You” rapper, the City Girls member revealed: “We’re still friends! We’re still good friends! But we’re single.” “That’s not my man,” Miami continued. “We had our own situation, I’m not gonna put a title on it. We were f–king with each other hard. We were together every day at one point. He supported me, I supported him. I’ll let the internet call it whatever they want to call it.”
Yung Miami also teased that the next City Girls album is coming “sometime this summer,” adding that “when you doing a project, it takes time. We’re trying to sit through it and make sure that that’s what we want to put out. It’s gonna hit different.”
2. American Grammy-winning producer Timbaland would love to work with Adekunle Gold
One of the most famous producers in the world Timbaland has revealed that he would love to collaborate with Adekunle Gold. The American Grammy-winning producer posted a video of himself on his Instagram story listening to Adekunle Gold’s “Something Different.” He called the music “hard” and said they have to work.

Timbaland has earlier declared himself a fan of Afro-house queen Niniola and he even appeared on her album “Colours and Sounds.”
3. South Africa: Cassper Nyovest’s next album is ready
This album is perfect. I might not drop a single. I might just drop the whole project so it’s received in context. I don’t want any confusion so, the song that is dropping before the album isn’t a single. It’s a campaign. It’s a dope song but it’s not the sound of the album.

By his standards, Cassper Nyovest has been relatively low-key and off the radar over the past couple of months. The notoriously outspoken rapper has been notably absent from the Twitter trends list he so often occupies, leading many fans to wonder what he’s been up to. It turns out the “Siyathandana” hitmaker has been working on a new album, which he revealed is now complete through a series of tweets. He also shared that he has a song dropping soon ahead of the album’s release.
“This album is perfect,” he tweeted on Tuesday. “I might not drop a single. I might just drop the whole project so it’s received in context. I don’t want any confusion so, the song that is dropping before the album isn’t a single. It’s a campaign. It’s a dope song but it’s not the sound of the album.” He also described this album as his most important and said the wait would be worth it for his fans.
4. Ghanaian musician Obrafour sues Drake over copyright infringement
Ghanaian musician Obrafour is suing megastar rapper Drake for the rapper’s decision to sample his song without his permission. Drake sampled Obrafour’s “Oye Ohene” remix in the “Calling My Name” off Drake’s “Honestly, Nevermind” album released in 2022. According to the Ghanaian legend, Drake had earlier sought permission which was denied but the rapper nevertheless went forward with the sampling. With the mouth-watering settlement that accrues from copyright breach, Obrafour might be in for a big payday should he convince the court.
5. Soccer star Neymar announces second child, first with girlfriend Bruna Biancardi
A baby is on the way for soccer superstar Neymar and his girlfriend, Bruna Biancardi. The couple made the announcement of Biancardi’s pregnancy on Wednesday with a shared Instagram post. The gallery included a picture of them kissing while Neymar held his hands in the shape of a heart over her bare belly. “We dream of your life, we plan your arrival and knowing that you are here to complete our love makes our days much happier,” the caption, translated from Portuguese, read. “You will arrive in a beautiful family, with a brother, grandparents, uncles, and aunties who already love you so much! Come soon child, we are looking forward to you!”
They also referenced the Bible verse Jeremiah 1:5, which says, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart.” This will be Neymar’s second child. The Paris Saint-Germain and Brazil national team forward has a 12-year-old son, Davi Lucca, with his ex-girlfriend Carolina Dantas. He received criticism upon the announcement of his first child as Neymar was just 19 and ascending in his soccer career when he had Davi.
Congratulations to the couple.
