Davido’s record-breaking album “Timeless” officially made its debut on the Billboard 200 albums chart at number 37 after selling over 17,000 units in the US alone. This is huge as the album also made its appearance at number 10 on the UK Albums Chart as well.

Veteran SA rapper Kwesta has announced his own concert at Carnival City’s Big Top Arena on August 12 in celebration of his 16 years in the music industry. The “Spirit” hitmaker took to Instagram to share the news with his fans. “I am but a product of your love and support. A work of many contributors,” he said. “Made in the ghetto by maids in the ghetto. 5 albums in and a life long verse. This is THE 16th BAR of the perfect verse.”

“Thank you for writing it with me. A celebration of 16 years in the game. The 16th Bar. Carnival City Big Top Arena. 12 August 2023. Tickets available now! @computicket Click the link in the bio. @carnivalcity_sun.” The announcement was accompanied by a trailer that saw Kwesta walking around the Big Top Arena in a GALxBOY shirt.

4. Odell Beckham Jr. signs $18M blockbuster deal with Baltimore Ravens after missing entire season

The Baltimore Ravens announced Sunday, April 9, that the team agreed in principle to a one-year deal with coveted free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. who missed the entire 2022 season while recovering from an ACL injury he suffered during Super Bowl LVI. Reports say that the deal is worth up to $18 million. That breaks down to a $1.165 million base salary plus a $13.835 million signing bonus and $3 million in incentives.

The dream of Beckham returning to the Big Apple where he once made amazing catches for the New York Giants has ended. He was reportedly expected to meet with the New York Jets on Monday. But he was “feeling more love from the Ravens,” Beckham told the press.

5. Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp confirms Luis Diaz return date after six months out with knee injury

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Luis Diaz will make his long-awaited return from injury in the Reds’ Premier League clash with Leeds. The Colombia international winger has spent the last six months stuck on the sidelines with a knee problem, with his last competitive action coming in a 3-2 loss to Arsenal on October 9. Diaz has, however, made a welcome return to training on Merseyside and – despite being left out of the matchday squad for a return date with the Gunners on Sunday – is in line to play some part in a meeting with relegation-threatened Leeds at Elland Road on April 17.

Klopp has said of Diaz, while also welcoming the return of Spanish midfielder Thiago Alcantara from his two-month stint on the treatment table: “For Thiago it’s super-important that he has a few training sessions on top of the few he had, Luis Diaz will be back in full and normal team training and available for the game [vs Leeds] so these things are really, really good news.”
