As spring officially kicked off, it didn’t take long for celebrities around the globe to switch up their wardrobe to pay homage to the season. Last week’s best-dressed stars zeroed in on ensembles for day and night that were easy and effortless—but still made a major impact. Vibrant colors, interesting textures, and funky accessories took center stage as the dandiest men decided to play into the revitalizing energy of the season.
The Looks
When it comes to game day in the United States, the match isn’t the only thing people look forward to. Sports and fashion enthusiasts also anticipate the range of looks served by the athletes. Before the game between the Philadelphia Sixers and the Dallas Mavericks, NBA pro James Harden graced the tunnel walk in a dark blue Louis Vuitton set consisting of a jacket worn over a Lil Kim-printed shirt and matching pants. He added more color to the look with a pair of purple and orange Louis Vuitton LVST307 sneakers. For accessories, the sportsman opted for an orange Goyard bag and Prada sunglasses.
Another look that made a vibrant statement last week was Lewis Hamilton, who brought out the colors as he arrived at the Australian Grand Prix. The Formula 1 racer turned heads in a striped Erl set paired with Marsell boots and Celine sunglasses. He threw minimalism out the window and embraced the new season’s colors.
Kellyn Acosta doesn’t miss on and off the pitch. The Los Angeles Football Club player leaned into stand-out pieces with a burgundy Bottega Veneta padded gilet worn over a white Rick Owens long-sleeved tee and a pair of blue padded Bally trousers. He finished off the look with black Kenzo lace-up boots and vintage sunnies.
Meanwhile, Washington Wizard pro, Kendrick Nunn walked the tunnel ahead of the Wizards x Boston Celtics game in yet another colorful look. He was fitted in an EPTM flannel, Who Decides War frayed jeans, and pink Rick Owens sneakers. It was a vibrant look we all approved.
The moment spring rolls around, there’s a shift in celebrity wardrobes. The season calls for pastels, vibrance, and all things sweet. Last week’s best-dressed stars didn’t disappoint in that section as they sprung into style.
