Who says a casual weekend look can’t be just as striking as a formal ensemble? Last week, the best-dressed stars didn’t stick to just one dress code. Whether attending the Vanity Fair Oscars party (which happened to crossover to early Monday morning after the 4-hour award show) or making an entrance before a Formula 1 race, celebrities dialed up the fashion these past few days by delivering statement looks that felt sleek, fresh, and fun.
The Looks
Nobody did red carpet glitz better than model Alton Mason last week. At the Vanity Fair Oscars party, the runway favorite commanded attention in a red Maison Valentino sheer sling top and matching pants. For shoes, he went with a pair of red Maison Margiela Tabi boots. His look was on par with the theme of the night: “Old Hollywood Glam: Barely there.”
The more informal looks last week, meanwhile, were just as eye-catching. At the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix Day 1, Formula 1 racer, Lewis Hamilton wowed in a Calvin Klein t-shirt and Off White trousers which he layered with a red and white checkered Prada coat. He gave the classic look a modern update with a pair of red and white Prada sneakers and Prada sunglasses.
Elsewhere, NBA pro player James Harden was feeling blue in denim. Harden proved that denim can be just as dressy, especially when paired the right way. The Philadelphia Sixers player wore a Nahmias carpenter blue jacket over a t-shirt and a matching Nahmias straight-leg paneled jeans. He completed the blue theme with a pair of Marni Terry Fussbett Sabot slippers.
