Nigerian musician and EmPawa label boss Oluwatosin Ajibade AKA Mr. Eazi has taken to social media to call out Latino music giant Bad Bunny for copyright infringement. On Monday, February 6, Mr. Eazi took to his Twitter account to call out the Grammy Award winner for infringing on the intellectual property of EmPawa artist Joeboy. According to him, Bad Bunny sampled a Joeboy song without going through the standard clearance process with the label or the artist. “Yo @sanbenito you need to tell your lawyers to stop messing around and clear that Joeboy rip-off on your album,” the tweet reads.

Mr. Eazi then proceeded to add a YouTube link to the song in question in another tweet in an effort to eliminate any doubt as to his claim. The EmPawa boss didn’t restrict his complaints to Twitter, as he took to Linkedin to further elaborate on the copyright infringement. In the post on his Linkedin page, Mr. Eazi complained about the disregard from Bad Bunny and his label over their failure to clear the song. He further shared that he found their actions to be disrespectful and condescending.

Chris Brown is offering an interesting apology to Robert Glasper after being upset on social media following his loss of the “Best R&B Album” Grammy to the decorated pianist and producer on Sunday, February 5. The singer posted a screenshot of his Instagram direct message to Glasper, writing, “Congratulations my brother… I would like to apologize if you took offense to my reaction at the Grammys. You were not the intended target and I know I came off really rude and mean.”
He continued: “After doing my research I actually think you’re amazing… the organization isn’t doing us Blacks our due diligence. You and I should never be in the same category… two totally different vibes and genres. So from one Black man to another, congratulations. Hope you are able to feed your family for life. God bless my G.” Following Glasper’s fifth Grammy award win for “Black Radio III,” which topped Brown’s “Breezy,” CB posted an IG Story of Glasper reading, “Y’all playing. Who da f**k is this?” He then wrote, “Ima keep kicking y’all a**! Respectfully.”

Footballer Christian Atsu has been pulled from the rubble of a building “with injuries” after the earthquakes in Turkey, his club’s vice-president Mustafa Özat has told Turkish radio. Atsu, who plays for Hatayspor, was trapped after the earthquakes that killed at least 4,800 people. The Ghana forward, 31, played 107 games for Newcastle and has had spells with Chelsea, Everton, and Bournemouth.
Hatayspor sporting director Taner Savut is still in the collapsed building. Veteran striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has returned to full AC Milan training after a lengthy layoff due to an ACL injury. The 41-year-old underwent surgery on his ACL in May 2022, and he confirmed shortly after that he planned to return to the field despite his age. It appears that he is close to fulfilling his promise, with the player due to be available for Milan’s Serie A contest with Torino this Friday, according to reports.
Ibrahimovic was a steady contributor for the Rossoneri as they won the Scudetto last year, scoring eight times in Serie A. Stefano Pioli’s side is currently in sixth place and will benefit from the return of their veteran forward.
