We are just three days into February, yet the month has proven to be a promising one. As the month kicks into full gear, Afrobeats artistes are giving it their all to make their mark this year. This week isn’t different, as top artistes in the industry are giving us reasons to stan them. Topping this week’s list is Asake, who has made his 2023 debut with a banging song accompanied by colorful visuals titled Yoga.

Elsewhere, music veteran Wande Coal also released a groovy and certainly memorable song titled Kpe Paso. On the song, he enlists the prowess of fellow veteran and rapper Olamide, who delivered his catchy lines and unique sound over the provided beat. From Asake to Wande Coal, this week’s Afrobeats offerings are as impressive as ever. As usual, we’ve curated the top five trending tunes for your listening pleasure.

Check out the top 5 trending new Afrobeats songs released this week…

The song is complemented by a big-budget music video directed by the usual suspect, TG Omori.

#2. DJ Neptune ft. Ruger – Bienvenue

After successfully putting last year to a close with the banger Asiwaju, Ruger opens his 2023 account. This time, he is guided by veteran disk jockey and entertainer, DJ Neptune. For the first time ever, DJ Neptune collaborates with the Jonzing World star on his latest single titled Bienvenue. The track’s title which translates to “one who is welcome” in French sees Ruger emitting comforting words to his love interest. Bienvenue is co-produced by Choke Boi, Kukbeatz, and of course, DJ Neptune and serves as Neptune’s first official single for 2023.

#3. Wande Coal ft. Olamide – Kpe Paso

Nigerian veteran singer-songwriter Wande Coal has opened his 2023 account with a new single titled Kpe Paso. On the new output, he collaborates with another veteran, YBNL’s kingpin, Olamide. #5. Lojay – Moto

Since Lojay stepped out with the collaborative project LV N ATTN with revered record producer Sarz, he hasn’t looked back. He has since released amazing numbers and involved himself in interesting collaborations, including his international collab with Chris Brown on the Monalisa remix.
