1. Paris Hilton announces birth of first baby
Paris Hilton has welcomed her first child, a baby boy. Hilton, 41, shared a photo on Instagram of her baby’s hand in hers, writing, “You are already loved beyond words.” Hilton, who married businessman Carter Reum in 2021, had kept their baby a secret until her post on Tuesday. A source confirmed to the media that the baby was born via surrogate. Hilton has not released the name of her baby.
The businesswoman and DJ, whose family founded Hilton Hotels, chronicled her multi-day wedding celebration on a 2022 reality show, “Paris in Love,” during which she and Reum spoke about wanting a family. Hilton’s post was flooded with positive comments from celebrities and friends.

2. Netflix debuts official trailer for ‘A Sunday Affair’
Netflix has released the official trailer for their next project, titled A Sunday Affair. Written by Darrel Bristow-Bovey and directed by Walter Taylaur, the movie follows the story of two best friends, Uche and Toyin. The two fall in love with the same man named Sunday, a charming yet flawed eligible bachelor caught up in an unenviable dilemma.
A love triangle develops, with each woman not realizing she is dating the same man. However, Sunday has a problem: who does he choose? This entanglement comes to a very unexpected crescendo. The new trailer sheds more light on the movie, revealing the best friends’ relationships with Sunday and Toyin’s battle with cancer.
It stars Nse Ikpe Etim, Dakore Egbuson Akande, Oris Erhuero, Alexx Ekubo, Uzor Osimpkpa, Chris Iheuwa, and Hilda Dokubo. A Sunday Affair premieres on Netflix on February 14, Valentine’s Day.
3. South Africa: Ndlovu Youth Choir again stuns at ‘America’s Got Talent’
Ndlovu Youth Choir made South Africa proud after delivering a stellar performance at America’s Got Talent. After making the final in 2019, the singing group was selected as part of the “top 16 acts of all time among the Got Talent franchises to compete in the All-Star show. The show that aired on Monday showcased the choir, known for performing trendy songs, singing an original song, “We Will Rise.”
“We dedicated our performance to the people of South Africa. We wanted to do an original song instead of a cover, we have amazing songwriters. It’s about the South African spirit of resilience,” artistic director Ralf Schmitt said. “There are so many young South Africans who just need an opportunity and we tried to represent well. Being on that stage is a huge privilege and honor, and a reminder to the country about the potential of South Africans.”

Nigerian music producer Rexxie has teased the upcoming release of the remix of his hit single “Abracadabra,” which is set to feature Nigerian megastar Wizkid. Rexxie made this known via Twitter on Wednesday, January 25. Since its release, “Abracadabra” has enjoyed impressive success with its catchy beat and Naira Marley’s “Abi kin pe Rexxie” which has become a viral caption on social media.
The single caught the attention of Grammy-winning Afrobeats megastar Wizkid, who posted the single on his Instagram story and hopped on the trend. A shoutout from Wizkid excited Rexxie who shared screenshots of his Instagram chat with the megastar. There’s no release date yet for the remix, although Rexxie did indicate that the single is coming soon.
5. UEFA confirms plans for 32-team European Championship have been scrapped

UEFA has confirmed that plans to expand the European Championship from 24 to 32 countries have been thrown out. UEFA wrote on its official website that “no change has been proposed for the UEFA EURO final tournament, which will still feature 24 teams.”
Qualification for the Euros will operate with teams being drawn in 12 groups of four and five teams. Group winners of the European qualifiers will automatically be entered into the tournament, while the second-placed teams will either qualify directly or participate in play-off matches, according to a statement. UEFA also announced the relocation of the 2023 Super Cup from Kazan, Russia, to Athens, Greece. The game will be played at the Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium on August 16. Paris Hilton First Child
