I have always been a huge fan of sweet treats. Growing up, I recall spending most, if not all of my pocket money on satisfying my sweet cravings. Lol! Cookies were one of my all-time faves. I always loved how crunchy and delicious they tasted. It would have made a huge difference if I knew how to bake back then. Like I mean, all that cash would have been spent on something else.
In an effort to be healthier, I’ve since curbed my love for the sweeter things of life. When I came across this easy cookie recipe by Sisi Yemmie, I felt like I had just discovered a gold mine because it was the perfect yet easiest recipe on oatmeal cookies. Oatmeal contains lots of fibre and it is exactly perfect if you’re a part of the fit fam squad like me. Yeah! You heard that correctly, you don’t have to feel guilty every time you take a bite of a yummy cookie. Also, If you are a first-time baker like me then this recipe is just right for you.

Ingredients
- ¾ cup Wheat flour
- 3 cups Oats
- ¾ cups Plain flour
- ⅔ cup Brown sugar
- Handful Raisins
- 1⁄2 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla essence
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- Eggs (2)
- 1⁄2 cup Butter
- 1⁄2 cup Shortening
- Handful Coconut Shavings
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
