Nigerian singer and actress Adesua Etomi-Wellington has released her first EP, cleverly titled Sue Me. On Wednesday, the actress-turned-singer announced the release of the five-track project on streaming services. Some of the songs on the album are “Dogged A Bullet,” “Intro,” “Hold You Down,” “Too Much,” and “Champ’s Song,” which features her husband, Banky W.

On “Hold Down,” the singer promises to always stand by her beloved regardless of the circumstances. On “Dogged A Bullet,” Susu, as she’s fondly called, tells a very sad story and also expresses her joy at having recovered from the ordeal and escaping her former lover’s “bullet.”

In February of this year, the Adesua announced that she was going to start making music with the release of her first single titled, “So Natural.”

2. Mariah Carey denied ‘Queen Of Christmas’ trademark

Mariah Carey is not officially the “Queen of Christmas” after the US Trademark Trial and Appeal Board ruled against the pop singer’s legal attempt to trademark the name. According to reports, the “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” singer was denied the title on Tuesday, November 15, and also can’t trademark the titles “Princess of Christmas” or “QOC” either.

The ruling, however, means that the holiday titles can be used by Elizabeth Chan, another singer who claims to be “the world’s only full-time pop Christmas recording artist,” and has put out 12 albums filled with Christmas music. She has also used the title “Princess of Christmas” as a nickname for her 5-year-old daughter, the outlet notes. Mariah Carey moved to trademark the Queen of Christmas title earlier this year but notable holiday music singers Darlene Love and Elizabeth Chan, were not fond of the decision.

5. Walker reveals he is unlikely to be fit enough for England’s World Cup opener against Iran

Manchester City defender Kyle Walker has revealed that he will probably not be fit enough to play in England’s first World Cup match against Iran. It’s been a fight against time for the 32-year-old to return to fitness, but he credits the physios at Manchester City and with the England camp for speeding up his recovery. Walker is one of England’s most experienced players and would be missed if he’s unable to take the field.

“It was an operation that I had, it was touch and go. It’s full credit to the physios here and also at Man City for getting me back and getting me fit and healthy,” Walker told the media. “I was never worried. I always have to believe in myself. As soon as the professor said I needed surgery I was very confident, just about making sure that I prepared right on and off the field and moving forward I’d be alright.” Asked if he would be available for the first match, he added: “If selected, then that’s down to the manager. I think the first game’s probably a little bit too short [soon], but from then onwards I’ll be good and ready to go.” Walker shared.
