Lizzo graces the latest cover of Vanity Fair and opens up about her relationship with her boyfriend, Myke Wright. The Grammy-award-winning singer says she’s “in love” but not itching to get married just yet for various reasons. “People fight for monogamy like they pray for it every day. I am not a polyamorous person, I’m not in love with multiple partners. That is not me. He’s the love of my life. We are life mates,” continued the musician before discussing the prospect of marriage. “Do I want to get married? If I wanted to start a business with him, I’d get married because that’s when your finances come together.”
Lizzo noted that she likes weddings and prefers the event itself to the idea of “a marriage,” continuing, “I’m not thinking about sex when I think about monogamy and rules. I’m thinking about the autonomy and independence of him and me.”
3. South Africa: Lady Du slams SA ambulance services
Lady Du has called out ambulance services after they “failed to assist her multiple times” when she wanted to report an accident allegedly involving a minor. The musician took to her Instagram timeline on Wednesday to share the details of what had happened, sharing her anger at how the ambulance department had handled the matter.
“I have never in my life been so disgusted by our ambulance services. A child was hit by a car, has been lying on the floor for 30 mins. I gave them the address and my phone number,” she wrote. “One of the people on the scene that know me asked me to call emergency services, I did. On my fifth attempt one hung up on me because I’m not the child’s mother, the second one hung up on me because I was looking for the cell number.”
The amapiano songstress was left fuming and said something had to give in the country. “We need change in this country. This is bulls**t! This guy literally asked if I’m the child’s relative and that I should tell him the child’s information! Mind you, I’m not there, I don’t know the child.”

Co-housemate, Tobi Bakre confirmed his shocking demise on Thursday, days after the reality star suffered fatal injuries from a car accident. “We lost him. But thanks a lot guys. God knows best,” Bakre tweeted announcing Swavey’s death.
Following the fatal accident, which occurred in the early hours of Tuesday morning, co-housemate Alex Unusual revealed that the artiste was in a “critical condition” and unconscious. An appeal for financial aid spearheaded by Bakre was also promptly set up to keep Swavey on life support.

The Ballon d’Or is, by far, the most important individual award in world football. Since 2008, it has been almost exclusively the property of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi which makes it so much more special for their rivals when they are in the running to win it. Robert Lewandowski looked set to get his hands on the award in 2020, but a decision was made to cancel it due to the delays around the world caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Speaking ahead of Monday’s awarding of the 2022 Ballon d’Or, the Poland captain made his frustration known whilst discussing the likelihood of Benzema scooping the accolade. He told the press: “He’s probably one of the favorites to win the Ballon d’Or, of course, if they don’t cancel it, then probably he’s going to win this Ballon d’Or, yeah.” Tems EMA
Lewandowski was as good as nailed on to win the award prior to its cancellation in 2020. He scored 55 goals and put on 10 assists for Bayern Munich as they won the Champions League, the Bundesliga, and the DFB-Pokal. He was, however, able to make up for missing out on the Ballon d’Or by collecting FIFA’s ‘The Best’ award and UEFA’s Player of the Year award.
