Top Gun Maverick actor Jay Ellis opted for an evening look that suited the Cannes Film Festival. Thanks to his stylist, Apuje Kano, the actor opted for a navy blue Versace tuxedo for the viewing of his soon-to-be-released movie at the festival. Paired with accessories, including a wristwatch and snake design lapel pin from Bulgari and shoes from Christian Louboutin, it was a zingy breath of fresh air.
Basketball player Marcus Smart slipped into a complete Dior look to the Boston Celtics playoff game against the Miami Heat. He fitted into a green Dior oblique pixel shirt and a pair of matching oblique pixel shorts, a coordinating approach that felt timeless and fresh. His more casual approach to showing legs was complemented with a pair of black and white Dior B22 sneakers with green laces which proved that neutral-colored sneakers don’t have to be boring.
Judging by the fire looks that Black men showcased last week, celebrities are ready to compete with the summer heat. This week’s best dressed stars were not afraid to bring the heat, whether they chose looks that showed some legs in shorts or formal looks for the red carpet.
