The 2017 Toilet Paper Wedding Dress Contest presented by Cheap Chic Weddings and Quilted Northern® was recently held and the top 10 dresses are nothing short of amazing! Since 2004, the Cheap Chic Weddings Toilet Paper Wedding Dress Contest has challenged creative minds to create a wearable, on-trend wedding dress, and headpiece from only toilet paper, glue, tape and needle, and thread.
Some people like their wedding dresses to be made out of the finest fabrics while others just want theirs to be cheap and will even opt for toilet paper.
For the contest, the guidelines were simple – the dresses must use Quilted Northern Toilet Paper, tape or glue of any kind can be used, as well as any needle and thread or sewing machine and the dress must be worn by a human and able to take on and off. The competition which began on 4th April 2017 came to a conclusion on the 20th July 2017 with the winner going home with $10,000 while the second and third place received $5,000 and $2500, respectively.
