Last Week, Glamour And Edge Fearlessly Shone

Last week, we witnessed a divine spectacle of beauty looks on Black women that undoubtedly left us speechless. Whether it was glamorous makeup or edgy hairstyles, our favorites stayed winning in more ways than one. As exciting events popped up all over — from fashion shows to Halloween parties and everything in between — there was truly no shortage of creative beauty looks with individual spin.

The Looks

Model Loren Dixon went full-on glam as she channeled her inner indlovukazi in a Zulu-inspired regal headdress. Sticking to the Zulu queen theme, Dixon did justice to the dramatic winged liner trend which she accentuated with crystals. In addition to the delightful liner, her choice of shadow was equally impressive as she opted for two-tone — burnt orange and silver. Certainly, a queen and more. 

Hair 

British-Nigerian singer, Falana, took an exciting play with braids in an orange box-braids option with puff details. The neck-grazing hairdo was surely a win as it not only accentuated her features but also fit right into the Fall/Halloween theme. Another mane that proved a hit was Keke Palmer in an updated Anita Baker cut. The actress/singer stunned in an artistic rendition of beauty and fashion as photographed by Justin Schwan. Definitely a win in every way!
