Black male celebrities globally sought out the joy that comes with dressing up and owned their style last week. On and off social media, the sartorial vibe was exuberant and upbeat as browns, blues and neutrals ruled the scenes. Black men’s fashion 2021.
Naturally, we’re starting this week’s Best Dressed list with one of our favorite looks. In Nigeria, media personality, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu also served up some chocolate goodness in a set designed by Lagos-based designer T.I Nathan. He finished off the look with all brown accessories for a fitted monochrome brown look. While his outfit can’t be classified as vintage, it did have some elements that are reminiscent of the disco era. Black men’s fashion 2021.
Down in South Africa, fashion designer, Rich Mnisi was a flawless sight in a Wales Bonner x Adidas collaborative set with an exaggerated collar that embodied an ultra-modern and sophisticated aesthetic. The black leather boots he went with added even more oomph to the ensemble. Rich Mnisi’s look last week was definitely a power move which showed his ability to truly own any outfit.
Owning one’s style is important in fashion, and last week, Black male celebrities around the world proved this with their own unique takes.
