Couture Fashion Week has got the fashion-sphere buzzing again. From Chanel’s mirrored walls to Elie Saab’s dainty catwalk, Giambattista Valli’s super fluffy over the top gowns and the masterpiece that is the bridal showcase which most couturiers save for last, it’s truly been a Couture Fashion Week for the gawds!
The runway was dazzled with a number of labour intensive wedding dress inspo including “Uncle Karl’s” pale pink gown for Chanel, modelled by his favorite new muse Lily Rose Depp and Ralph & Russo’s ball gown and fur cape as seen on Victoria Secret Angel, Alessandra Ambrosio.
Per Couture Week tradition, designers proved yet again that wedding dresses are not synonymous with the colour white and neutrals and pinks are still in the wedding gown game.
