Fashion has always been a key aspect of the African culture and our celebrities never fail to express that in their own ways. Last week, dapper looks ruled as stylish celebs showed off their style in non-conforming grandeur.
Nigerian fashion influencer, Akin Faminu paid homage to one of Nigeria’s oldest fabrics, the adire (tie-dye), in top mixed print style. Wearing a three-piece suit look, Akin Faminu looked quite exquisite in the traditional-inspired western attire. The contrasting colours of the trench coat against the blazer and trouser print definitely elevated the look. He went with a pair of black leather boots to finish the look, and further accessorized with some gold jewelleries and a black fedora hat.
South African fashion designer, Rich Mnisi, gave the long-lived double denim trend his own spin with a cropped patchwork denim jacket which he wore over a navy blue turtleneck sweater, paired with a pair of denim pants. For footwear, he chose a pair of white high tops which elevated––literarily and figuratively––the look.
