Often when we think of international celebrity style stars, a few names like Rihanna, Blake Lively, Kerry Washington or the Kardashian/Jenner clan pop up in our heads. Lady Gaga‘s name is usually not even an option and that’s no one’s fault in all fairness.
Since the ‘Mother Monster’ came on the scene in 2007/2008 she’s been known for her over the top, avant-garde and crazy outfits which all added to her appeal. We loved her jams and we loved her drag, the VMA meat dress for instance.
However, the Perfect Illusion singer took to 2016 to revamp her look and style and boy do we love it! She showed us a different side of her; a more relatable side through her fashion choices and contrary to what you’d expect from overly eccentric dresser, 7 out of 10 times, she slayed it! In 2016, giving us style goals, fashion inspo and sheer joy as she busted her exaggerated moves, Lady Gaga sang and slayed her way into celebrity style star-dom. Who can forget the all-white Brandon Maxwell ensemble she wore to the Oscars?
