If you have not come across the Egungun video by Obesere or heard the sound on social media, then you must have been living under the rock as a Nigerian. With the Egungun trend on social media, Skiibii took the opportunity to do a remake with Obesere.
It seemed like remakes were the order of the week. Skiibii and Obesere weren’t the only ones who caught the remake fever with their Egungun release. Paul Play and Runtown came together to remake one of Nigeria’s classic songs Angel of my life. Besides the remakes, Falz released his first single of the year titled Bop Daddy and social media have taken the song and ran with it as they bop to the track in videos that are now being shared all over social media.
