Male Celebs Reinforced Their Style Status At Events Last Week

At Style Rave, we aim to inspire our readers by…
One thing we can all agree about style is that a winning look begins with dressing for the occasion. This translates to showing up to any event in the appropriate outfit especially when it comes to style for the male figure. Another thing we can agree on is that it’s better to be overdressed than underdressed; which is one thing our favourite celebrities in the entertainment and fashion industries across Africa have mastered.
While style has always been easy-peasy for many African female celebrities as they attend one event or the other, the opposite was the case for their male counterparts, but that’s all changing now. Men are now literally showing up and showing out in amazing style.
Last week was filled with a number of industry events. From concerts in Tanzania to fashion weeks both in Nigeria and South Africa, African male celebrities stepped out in everything ranging from hip to artistic to gender-blurring looks.
For the exclusive Day 1 of Lagos Fashion Week, Orange Culture founder and director, Adebayo Oke-Lawal posed in a neon green suit set which he layered over a champagne gold shirt, complementing the look with a pair of gold Gucci mules.
Congolese singer, Fally Ipupa showed his love for Louis Vuitton as he attended the 2019 AFRIMMAs in Dallas, Texas. He paired a black T-shirt with black pants, and layered the shirt with a leather Louis Vuitton utility jacket. He completed the ensemble with a pair of brown sneakers and brown bandana to match. His cream coloured sunglasses was prove he wasn’t taking any prisoners with his look.
