When Queen Genevieve Nnaji decides to celebrate, she turns up for real. Though born on the 3rd of May, Genevieve decided to celebrate last weekend and she did this with her Girls Cot squad and other celebrities.

This reunion especially that of GenevieveNnaji, Rita Dominic, Uche Jombo and Ini Edo, has sparked up a full-blown ‘#Girlscot’ buzz on social media. This is from a throwback Nollywood hit movie shot in 2006 which was produced by Sylvester Obiadigie, featuring these stars.

These were the days of VCDs and definitely, no Nollywood movie was complete without any of them in it. It is safe to say that decades later, these women should only be addressed as legends because they have paved the way for many.
This reunion after 13 years, debunks rumours of fights as we could see only pure positive energy radiating from each woman. These women are stirring up a rollercoaster of emotions in us, most especially nostalgia and having us miss the old Nollywood. We plead with these icons for a remake or a movie starring all of them, we don’t know what producer can afford the full Girls Cot squad in one movie but when there’s a will there’s a way right? Pretty please!!!
We don’t know about you but we get super excited when Queens gather Queening because we’re almost sure that they’re up to nothing but good. Happy birthday once again to Queen Genevieve.
