Ayo Edebiri, who won the Best Female Actor in a Television Musical/Comedy Series award, consistently asserts her status as the current style icon with each red carpet and Fashion Week showcase. For the night, she opted for a striking custom Prada gown featuring a vibrant red hue, complemented by an elegant double-layer train crafted from satin and tulle. One of our favorite recent red carpet trends, men’s brooches, was pulled off by the star of “Rustin” and “The Color Purple”: Colman Domingo. With its sleek, timeless, and minimalist design, the suit allowed all of that amazing jewelry—not just the brooches but also the rings, bracelet, and watch—to steal the show. On the award front for the 81st Golden Globe, for Universal’s massively popular historical drama “Oppenheimer,” Cillian Murphy won Best Male Actor in a Motion Picture Drama, while Christopher Nolan, the film’s director, received his first Golden Globe for Best Director.

It was also the first nomination of her career. Finally, “Barbie” won the first-ever Cinematic and Box Office Achievement award, which was accepted by actress Margot Robbie.
