The 2018 Annual Tony Awards was held last night at the Radio City Music Hall in Manhattan, New York. For 72 years, the Awards event has been held to honour nominees for their excellence in the making of outstanding works of theatre. Last night’s Awards show was hosted by Josh Groban and Sara Bareilles.
Like most award shows, before the attendees find their way to their seats, in this case, the seats at the Tony Awards were at the Art Deco theatre, the celebs and stars first of all walk in front of flashing camera lights on the red carpet, having their outfits and general look documented for public consumption. You can tell that this is one part of any red carpet event that we love the most.
As usual, the cameras were able to capture every well-tailored tux and floor-sweeping gown and even the most unconventional looks at the 72nd Tony Awards were of course met by multiple flashing lights.
