For a long time, I’ve tried to find that certain someone that just speaks to my style personality. With a lot of influencers out there who are really killing it, there are just so many to choose from and that in itself makes choosing a task. Recently, as I stared at my haphazard-looking wardrobe, where most pieces aren’t cohesive, I began to wonder which celebrity closets I would raid if given the opportunity. Now you have the Genesis of this piece.
I came up with three names instantly and coincidentally they all start with the letter S: Nigerian TV host Stephanie Coker, stylist/designer Sharon Ojong, and top South African blogger Sarah Langa. There’s a reason why I chose these ladies and I’ll get into it.
Here’s why…
Stephanie Coker-Aderinokun
I’ll never be tired of frequenting Stephanie Coker’s Instagram page. In just a few years of being in the entertainment industry, she’s quickly established herself as a style star and is well on her way to becoming a fashion icon. She literally is among a small circle of Nigerian celebrities that set the trend, fashion-wise. Never one to stick to the rules, Stephanie stands out in every outfit she wears and that’s why I love her style.
Sarah Langa
When you study a lot of celebrities and style bloggers as I do, you’ll notice that one thing they do very well is to follow the trends but many forget to put a personal spin on it. Blogger Sarah Langa is quite an elegant dresser and even when she does follow the trends she never fails to do so in a way that flaunts her personality and just speaks of CLASS!
Sharon Ojong
When you hear the name Sharon just think Rekana – experimental fashion. Sharon started out as a style consultant and then expanded her brand by adding a clothing line that breaks all the style rules. Her personal taste would certainly set you apart if you are someone who wants to be inspired by uniqueness.
