1. Chioma B is coming to Africa again – Cardi B reveals

American rapper, Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar known professionally as Cardi B, is certainly one musician after the hearts of many Nigerians. Her visit to Nigeria clearly earned her more die-hard fans than expected.
Well, Cardi B is returning to Africa and from the look of things, she appears pretty excited about it. Cardi B revealed she will be coming back to Africa via her Twitter account. While responding to a tweet about the surge in ticket purchase following news of her impending visit, she tweeted: “SOUTH AFRICA !! Chioma B is coming !!!!….Teach me more bout your country in the comments ❤️❤️❤️”
Recall a while ago, she left many of her Nigerian fans excited after she took to her social media page to reveal she was missing Nigeria already. Taking to her Instagram story, she shared a photo of herself during her performance in Nigeria and captioned it: “Missing Nigeria.“
2. Oluwo suspended for six months
Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi, was on Friday suspended for six months by the Osun State Council of Traditional Rulers. A committee headed by Orangun of Ila, Oba Wahab Adedotun, was also constituted by the council to further investigate the matter involving Oluwo and Obas in Iwo land.

The royal fathers at their emergency meeting held at Osun State Government Secretariat, Abere, presided over by Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, arrived at the decision to suspend Oba Akanbi.
It was reported that part of the reasons for suspending Oluwo was his alleged disrespect for Alaafin of Oyo, Alake of Egbaland and Ooni.
3. Rowing presidents shake hands at border
President Yoweri Museveni of Uganda and President Paul Kagame of Rwanda arrived at the common border of Gatuna for negotiations to normalise relations between the two countries. The two were there to sign an extradition treaty to allow the exchange of wanted criminals.

Angola’s President João Lourenço and Félix Tshisekedi of Democratic Republic of Congo were also present to help broker the deal. The meeting came after the government of Rwanda released 20 Ugandan nationals who completed their sentences on various charges including illegal crossing into the country.
This week, Uganda also released 13 Rwandans who had been in detention on charges of espionage and other security related offences.
4. Iranians vote to elect new parliament amid uncertainty
Iranians voted in their country’s 11th parliamentary election, seen as a test for the popularity of President Hassan Rouhani’s reformist-moderate camp as hardliners were expected to make gains.

Elections for Iran’s 290-member Parliament are set amid escalating political tensions, economic struggles and concerns of low participation. The spectre of the coronavirus infection that has killed two people also adds another layer of uncertainty to the electoral process.
Supreme Leader Ali Hosseini Khamenei cast his vote in the capital, Tehran, minutes after the polls opened on Friday at 8am local time (04:30 GMT). In a speech after he cast his vote, Khamenei reiterated calls for a higher voter turnout, telling Iranians to participate in the elections “if they were interested in the country’s national interests“.
5. Jordan Henderson: Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp says captain out for three weeks

Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson will miss about three weeks with a hamstring injury, says manager Jurgen Klopp. Henderson, 29, was forced off late on in Liverpool’s 1-0 Champions League defeat by Atletico Madrid on Tuesday.
The midfielder has made 34 appearances for the runaway Premier League leaders this season, scoring three goals.
“We have heard of different hamstring injuries in the Premier League – Harry Kane for example – but it’s not that bad,” said Klopp on Friday.
Tottenham striker Kane – an England team-mate of Henderson – has had surgery on a torn hamstring sustained on 1 January and is not expected to return to training until April.
Klopp added: “Henderson will be out for three weeks or so, which is not cool but how we see it is we were still lucky.“
