Oprah revealed on CBS This Morning that she asked Prince Harry what were the most important issues facing the world. “He said there were two. He said climate change and he said mental wellness, mental fitness, mental, health,” Winfrey said.
She then shared with the Duke of Sussex that she was working on a new series about mental health on Apple TV and asked if he wanted to get involved. “He said at the end of the conversation ‘if there is anything I can do to help…” Oprah said. The duo then had secret meetings in London to put the project together.
Oprah added, “Our hope is that it will have an impact on reducing the stigma and allowing people to know that they are not alone, allowing people to speak up about it and being able to identify it for themselves and in their friends.”
