Already, we know Blake Lively to be a talented, fashion goddess, so if and whenever she says get suited up, then we have to obey! The Hollywood actress – who is also self-styled (yes, yes, we stan a self-sufficient goddess) – has a new obsession: Suits! If there’s one thing we love about the actress, then its that when it comes down to her style, she always keeps it fun, fresh and different.
Blake was in the press lately as she promoted her latest project, “A Simple Favor” and true to form, she kept movie and fashion faithfuls glued to her appearances using her style as her weapon of choice. Known to dress thematically, the Gossip Girl breakout star proved yet again that she’s a pro when it comes to planning multiple outfits for a single day. Her style has never been laid back – at least not when on a press tour. From extravagantly bold hues to busy prints, Blake brought about unusual fashion expectations to create a series of menswear-inspired looks which she rocked so effortlessly.
For most of the summer, Blake was pictured wearing everything under and outside of the menswear umbrella: neon suits, patterned suits, velvet suits, among other unique choices. Her style in itself made multiple fashion and lifestyle headlines, a perfect tie-in and a great way to promote her new movie also.
While she was no doubt really into this theme and went about it so beautifully, she unintentionally reiterated the knowledge that power suits are not only commanding but deserving of a space in every girl’s closet.
