Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, now Duke and Duchess of Sussex, got married in the St George’s Chaple at Windsor Castle on the 19th of May 2018 and the world hasn’t stopped talking about it since. The wedding was attended by celebrities, friends, family and the world at large. Ever since their engagement, the couple has garnered over 50 Million search hits on Google. So it’s safe to say, the world has a new favourite couple.
As always, we were keen on what Meghan would wear and she did not disappoint as she showed up in a sophisticated and classic dress by Givenchy. Meghan’s father, Thomas Markle, was not able to attend the wedding and rather than have anyone else walk her down the aisle, she decided to walk herself down. She only stopped at the Quire for Prince Charles to take her over to Harry at the altar thereby making her the first royal bride who didn’t have an escort.
Before Meghan Markle And Prince Harry were joined in holy matrimony, Bishop Michael Bruce Curry took to the altar to preach on the “redemptive power of love.” Bishop Curry, the first African-American presiding bishop of the American Episcopal Church encouraged all receiving his message to discover the power of love to make of “this old world a new world.”
