The 14th Headies Awards took place last night at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, and as we have seen in previous years, the stars came out in jaw-dropping outfits.
With an “anything goes” dress-code, the 14th Headies Awards which was hosted by comedian Bovi and Nollywood actress Nancy Isime, saw its attendees put on a more demonstrative display in the costume department. Host Bovi’s paid tribute to the lives lost on October 20, 2020 via fashion, and despite the pandemic, the country’s biggest celebs and influencers made serious efforts to keep fashion alive on the red carpet.
On the awards front, Fireboy DML who has the highest number of nominations with 9 nods, went home with 5 awards, the highest of the night, including Best RnB album and Best pop album for his two albums “Laughter, Tears and Goosebumps” and “APOLLO.” Wizkid took home the most coveted Artist of the year award. Music legends Ebenezer Obey and King Sunny Ade were also inducted into the Headies Hall of Fame.
From Headies OG, Iyabo Ojo who took home the 250,000 Naira cash prize for best dressed of the night to Chike who performed at HipTV’s big annual blow out for the first time, below you’ll find the best-dressed stars of the night.
