The Most Rave-Worthy Designs On The Paris Fashion Week Men Spring/Summer 2025 Runway

The curtains closed on Paris Men’s Fashion Week SS25, leaving a trail of vibrant collections that pushed boundaries and redefined what it means to dress for the warmer months. From established powerhouses to rising stars, designers offered a diverse range of looks, reflecting a globalized fashion landscape and a focus on comfort and individuality.

Travel was a recurring theme, with designers referencing diverse cultures and destinations. Pharrell Williams’ collection for Louis Vuitton, titled “Le monde est à vous” (The World is Yours), embodied this perfectly. Pixelated map motifs and aviation-inspired jackets hinted at a jet-setting lifestyle, while the color palette echoed the globe’s blues and greens. The collection felt fresh and optimistic, reflecting a renewed desire for exploration.

In addition, NAMESAKE’s “OFFSHORE” collection paid homage to the brand’s rich family history and the concept of personal growth. A video showcased a founding brother’s wedding proposal and their father’s shift from fashion to a career in fishing. This powerful narrative was woven into the clothes, featuring relaxed silhouettes in luxurious fabrics that hinted at both tradition and evolution.

However, mainstays like Hermès and Dries Van Noten delivered collections that were both innovative and respectful of their heritage. Hermès offered effortless summer staples in luxurious fabrics, with a focus on clean lines and subtle playfulness. Whereas, Dries Van Noten presented his final collection for his namesake brand, a poignant swansong that flaunted his signature mastery of color and texture, with a touch of melancholy beauty.

Furthermore, several designers embraced deconstruction and experimentation. Rick Owens presented a collection that blurred the lines between fashion and performance art, featuring students and staff from Parisian fashion colleges walking the runway. Junya Watanabe offered a playful take on tailoring, with oversized silhouettes and unexpected material combinations.

Wales Bonner continued their exploration of Black masculinity with a collection rooted in Black culture. The designer, Grace Wales Bonner, presented tailored pieces with a relaxed feel, using rich textures and a sophisticated color palette.

Again, gender fluidity continued to be a prominent theme. Hed Mayner presented a collection that transcended traditional notions of masculinity, with flowing garments and a focus on comfort. Homme Plissé Issey Miyake offered their signature pleated pieces in a variety of colors and silhouettes, appealing to a broader audience.

Beyond the high-fashion Paris Fashion Week Men SS25 shows, street-style photographers captured the energy and individuality of Paris’ fashion elite. Pleated jorts, both in denim and pinstripes, emerged as a surprising trend, paired with coordinating cropped jackets for a playful, summery vibe. Graphic bomber jackets and checkerboard prints added a dose of sporty chic, while vibrant turquoise accents provided pops of color

Lastly, Paris Men’s Fashion Week SS25 was a testament to the ever-evolving nature of menswear. From travel-inspired pieces to celebrations of heritage and experimentation with gender norms, the collections offered something for everyone. As the fashion industry continues to move away from rigid definitions, Paris solidified its position as a global hub for creativity and innovation in menswear.
