Beyoncé Knowles-Carter is showing off her long, healthy, natural hair and just how well her Cécred hair care line works on her natural hair. The Grammy Award-winning singer posted an archival video to her Instagram on Sunday, dubbed “Cécred Wash Day” by Beyoncé and many others, to share her wash day ritual using the products and send a message to fans. She starts off the video saying, “Now that Cécred is known for the quality and what it does for your hair, I think it’s about time I show y’all what it does for my hair.”

Beyoncé also made sure to address any criticism about her own hair saying, “The sigma and misconception is that people that wear wigs don’t have healthy and long hair. That’s some bulls*** cause it ain’t nobody’s business.” Beyoncé first launched her acclaimed hair care line Cécred on February 20, and it boasted of strengthening and soothing all types of hair, as well as protecting it from damage. While many fans flocked to buy the products, some folks worried about the singer’s own natural hair journey and use of the line.

On Sunday, April 21, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame revealed their 2024 inductees, which included Mary J. Blige, Kool & The Gang, and A Tribe Called Quest, the last of whom was nominated for the honor three straight times. Unfortunately, peers like Mariah Carey, Lenny Kravitz, and Sade were not selected after becoming nominees back in February.

Shortly after the announcement, Blige reacted to the big news in a heartfelt Instagram post. “Beyond grateful! This is incredible! God always has the final say!” said the Yonkers legend, who was also nominated in 2021. “Thank you to my fans all over the world! Tears of joy!” The 2024 induction ceremony will take place on October 19 at Cleveland, OH’s Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.

5. Bellingham wins Laureus breakthrough award

England and Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham has won the 2024 Laureus World Sports Breakthrough of the Year award. The 20-year-old has become a key player for Real following his £89m move from Borussia Dortmund last summer. He scored the winner against Barcelona in El Clasico on Sunday, taking his tally to 17 goals in La Liga this season. Bellingham also helped Real Madrid beat Manchester City on penalties in their Champions League quarter-final last week.

The Laureus World Sportsman of the Year award went to tennis player Novak Djokovic for the fifth time, while Spain and Barcelona midfielder Aitana Bonmati won the women’s equivalent. Bonmati, the current Ballon d’Or holder, helped her club win Liga F, the Spanish Cup, and the Women’s Champions League in 2022-23. She was then part of the Spain side that won the 2023 Women’s World Cup, with their exploits earning them the Team of the Year award at the Laureus ceremony in Madrid.
