The Most Rave-worthy Looks On Women Across Africa – Week Of April 20th & 27th

It’s no news that a good number of African female celebrities are fashion mavens, trendsetters and pretty much show-stoppers. These ladies routinely wear some of the most interesting and fashion-forward outfits on and off the red carpet, during press tours, for interviews and other activities. An unspoken rule about celebrity fashion is to never be caught off guard especially in this era of fast-paced fashion.

The millennials’ idea of fashion, however, is no longer how expensive your outfit is. Having “designer” pieces and a few pricy items like the Dior Tote Bag is good and all but the focus these days is on inexpensive outfits that are sophisticated and fun at the same time.

As usual, the African celebrities and influencers on this list stepped out in top style, most wearing affordable indigenous brands and others wearing more high-end pieces. However, what they had in common is how inspiring their looks were.

With Arise Fashion Week taking over the week that ended on April 20, we had to skip on that week’s Rave-worthy list, so this list features some looks from the upper week.
