T

he world can never grow weary of women willing to change the dynamics by doggedly working towards the highest version of themselves. Last week, this caliber of ladies were spotted attending major events, milestone celebrations, and locking down deals in pulchritudinous ensembles while blarneying the majority into involuntary swooning.

stylish black beauties.

These fashion-forward ladies were spotted attending the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations, birthday parties, reality show reunions, and TV drama premieres without an iota of sartorial laxity. As a result, they were a perfect depiction of great style, lending nobility of character thanks to their outfit choices. Black girl magic must have been working after hours, for we remain caught up on both simplistic takes and outlandish coordinations alike.

The looks

Black-ish star Marsai Martin made an entrance at Quality Control Management’s CEO’s party in a Kamilla Purshie Haute Couture dress. The sheer train draped effortlessly over a mini artsy inner piece that clung to Ms. Martin’s petite frame. Sure, we wouldn’t forget the bob hairstyle and minimal face beat that further complimented the star’s entire look.

If you’ve not caught the summer fever, talented actress Shannon Thontorn might finally pull you in with her captivating gaze or the floral sequined Naeem Khan jumpsuit she embodied for the P Valley season 2 premiere last week. While the front of the piece may have been 100% concealed, the back flaunted an unexpected deep plunging detail that added a bit of sass. That little commotion at the rear is no doubt the definition of business in the front, party at the back.

The Big Brother NaijaShine Ya Eye” reunion kicked off last week. Apart from the expected servings of drama, the housemates simultaneously made more than a few statements in creative and striking attires. One of such was first runner-up Liquorose who reminded us to wear our greens often, as she made a buzz in a green bejeweled dress and matching silk robe by the Nigerian Designer House of Dovastylish black beauties.
