Ri.Ch Factory Presents A Printastic Collection At The 2018 AFI Joburg Fashion Week | #AFIJFW18
A fashion and culture enthusiast who's really a food loving…
Creative entrepreneur Rina Chunga Kutama of Ri.Ch Factory is a South African designer who is mostly known for her work with African prints. The brand has mastered the use of prints in unexpected ways and the art of clashing prints, as well as mixing textures and silhouettes. The creative director is constantly inspired by beautiful African women, Spanish frills, flowers and Asian street styles and architecture.
For AFI Johannesburg Fashion Week 2018, the brand released a printastic collection that was not just elegant but was also vibrant and functional. To close the show, Rina partnered with Dove South Africa to create a fabric and a dress for the brand’s #100coloursofAfrica campaign.
According to the designer, the campaign is about celebrating the beauty of colours “because as African women it isn’t all about black and white.” The token dress, fit for African royalty, was modelled by South African Actress and multiple brand ambassador, Nomzamo Mbatha.
