It was a showdown of Agbadas as top Nigerian celebrities stepped out in their best Agbada looks for the premiere of AY’s latest movie, Merry Men – The Real Yoruba Demons. The movie follows the randy lives of four Abuja big boys who are considered the city’s most eligible bachelors. They have thriving businesses, palatial homes, expensive fast cars and the attention of women in no short supply. They are known as the Merry Men, even though the ladies would prefer calling them “Yoruba Demons.”

The movie premiere which took place on Sunday, September 23, 2018, at the Imax Cinema, Lekki, Lagos will be in cinemas from September 28, 2018. Keeping with the theme of the premiere, a variety of Agbadas rocked the scene even though we were all disappointed that Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, who was the key subject of the Agbada theme didn’t show up. Albeit, some people were happy he missed the event seeing that he would have presented a hard to defeat design. The ladies were not left out as they too showed that they can rock the Agbada just as effortlessly as their male foes.
