Last Week, The Best Beauty Looks Were Effortlessly On Point

Tiwa Savage Black Beauty Look for Glamour Mag Style Rave 2021

As the remarkable Beverly Naya once said, “Black Beauty is strength, first and foremost. It’s organic, it’s rich and it’s powerful.” This quote cannot be more apt, and the variety of beautiful Black women constantly excelling globally prove it. From face beats alluring enough to steal our hearts to fierce hairstyles which uphold the African essence, the best beauty looks from last week are a must-see.

Hair

Braids have undoubtedly been on a hot streak this season in an array of colors, sizes and lengths. British singer-songwriter Tiana Major9 came through with knotless bohemian braids styled to perfection. The uniquely woven look further accentuated Tiana’s gorgeous round face, and it definitely took the hair trend from basic to breathtaking real quick!

Equally gleaming up the hairstyle scene, Nigerian actress and style star Sharon Ooja Egwurube looked stunning as she rocked a sweet pixie cut. Not only did the short hairdo give off timeless vibes, it also proved that you cannot go wrong with its universally flattering effect. Over the years, we’ve seen celebrity powerhouses like Anita BakerToni Braxton and Zoe Kravitz own the classic haircut, but Sharon’s modern finesse was undeniable.

Makeup

Being comfortable in your skin never goes out of style, and American actress and activist Gabrielle Union-Wade was a beaming example of this. With a “no-makeup” makeup look and a gorgeous smile, the phenomenal Hollywood bombshell looked amazing. Even more refreshing, her natural glam was oh-so-charming and whimsical. In other words, anyone that comes across the starlet’s unblemished shot would feel a sense of ease and freshness.

Effortless and on point are the best ways to describe Jackie Aina’s regal glam as she shared a major feature story with Cosmopolitan magazine this past week. The Nigerian-American beauty vlogger and influencer looked dashing as she served a soft glossy lewk. She spoke up on her experience as a Black woman in the beauty industry and shared some of the pressures she’s faced in the online community. It’s safe to say Jackie’s contributions towards a better narrative for Black women is beautifully empowering. Black beauty 2021. looks.
