Add to that the winding down moments of the Venice Film Festival where celebs desperately needed to pull out their beauty arsenal before the clock struck midnight. The result? A dang heavy dose of beauty glam approved by the trendiest gals!

Makeup
Since spring, we’ve seen makeup shift focus to the eyes. Last week, singer Monica Brown played the 70’s soul card with heavily-adorned eyes. Her green eyeshadow was boldened with a thick floating liner that caressed her lids. The edgy take continued on her lower lids as spider lashes further added to the heft of her eyes. What better way to make an eye-catching statement?
The eye trend continued with South African screen darling Thuso Mbedu in dual tones. For the press tour of the Woman King movie, the star opted for pink eyeshadow across her upper lids while green graced her lower lids. Although the colors rarely make a fine pairing, they undoubtedly flattered Mbedu who finished off the look with a brown glossy lip stain.
Hair
During the closing ceremony of the Venice Film Festival, Tessa Thompson continued her daring beauty glam takes, courtesy of celebrity hairstylist Peter Lux. The hairstyle, a witty blend of classic finger waves and beachy tousled lengths, was a downright sexy finish to Thompson’s high-octane servings at Venice. Elsewhere, Chloe Bailey represented bold, daring braids as she took on the city of New York decked in Fendi. We absolutely love.
