ARISE Fashion Week 2018 is officially here and has kicked off at the Lagos Continental Hotel on Friday, March 30. The Pan-African event will showcase an array of designers from haute couture, to lingerie, to ready to wear. The first day of runway showcases had fashion’s IT-crowd from all over Africa storm Lagos for the truly exceptional event.
South Africa’s premier fashion label, KLûK CGDT showcased their latest collection on Day 1 of the Arise Fashion Week 2018 and it interestingly fabulous. KLûK CGDT presented a collection that was made out of French lace, chiffon, tulle, silk and patterned fabrics to create a luxurious feel to the line while paying attention to details, cut and structure. Some of the collection’s key features include the structured blazer dress, a hooded cloak, fringes, feathers and lots more.
Opened by supermodel Naomi Campbell, this collection is for the woman who’s totally in tune with her femininity and her power. One who’s confident enough to flaunt the skin she’s in, yet also in tune with her inner strength knowing that her beauty shines through even when she shows minimal skin.
